The prevailing climatic condition of Alaminos is Type IV, having an even distribution of rainfall throughout the year.
The lowest air temperature occurs in the months of January, February and December while the highest air temperature occurs in the month of April and May.
Peak wind velocity is observed from February to May with a prevailing direction of North East. South Westerly wind is observed in the months of July and August.
Heavy rainfall was observed from June to December in 1995. The highest mean monthly rainfall was observed in September of that year with 521 mm precipitation. This data is relatively high compared to the heaviest rainfall recorded in July 1994 with a reading of 291 mm. Normal values (average reading from 1959 to latest reading) show that October has the heaviest rainfall with a 274.8 mm precipitation.
The driest month in 1995 was March with Zero (0) rainfall. Based on normal values, February is the driest month.
With regard to Solar radiation, April and March render the strongest radiation having a record of 19052.7 cal./cm. sq. and 17042.9 cal./cm. sq. respectively.
The average monthly relative humidity of Alaminos is 80.25 percent. In 1995, humidity reached up to 87 percent in the month of September then dropped in March with 75 percent.
